My photographic interests lie principally in wildlife and nature, although I do occasionally shoot other subjects. I have travelled through much of southern and eastern Africa in the past twenty years - both as a photographer and for my work as a wildlife biologist - and a selection of the images I have captured can be seen on these pages.
My PhD research was concerned with determining the status of large- and medium-sized carnivores in the rangelands of western Botswana and the conflict they encounter with humans that live alongside them.
I am currently living and working in County Durham in the UK and much of my photography is now focused on capturing the wild beauty of the north of England and Scotland.
